Congratulations to the winners of the KNUnicorns 2025 All-Ukrainian Innovation Festival – master’s students of the Optics and Laser Physics programme.


The project “Innovative solar cells” by Zakhar Baranchykov and Oleh Bozhko is among the three winners. The contestants received a cash prize from the Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv Science Park corporation totalling UAH 250,000.

The 2025 Innovation Festival is funded by a grant for the research and technology project “Building an innovation ecosystem of KNU for the creation of advanced optical materials”, financed through the European Union’s external assistance instrument for the fulfilment of Ukraine’s commitments under the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 (project leader Ganna Tolstanova).
